Park City.
Utah's Rocky Mountains are generally accepted as having the “greatest snow on earth” with over 13m of dry, light snow every year. Salt Lake City was the host city for the 2002 Winter Olympics. Park City lies 50km from Salt Lake City airport and is the base for 3 world class ski resorts- Deer Valley, Park City Mountain Resort and The Canyons. Park City also has world class dining, bars, nightclubs and shopping. It is the venue of the famous Sundance Film Festival every year. Ski the World readers recently voted Deer Valley as the number 1 North American ski resort and Park City Mountain Resort was number 4. Park City is also only a 30 minute drive from Snowbird Resort which although has minimal Après Ski options, is a haven for the ski purest.
As usual the conference will involve entertaining presentations and workshops given by a variety of specialists who are leaders in their respective fields. Presentations run from 0700-0900 and 1730-1930. There will be many planned social engagements and “theme nights”.
The registration fee includes either a mens or womens 2XU high performance sports compression top. The tops are ideal for wearing against the skin while skiing to maximise performance and prevent injury. 2XU garments are at the cutting edge of sports performance wear. The organising committee use them personally for all sports activities and are delighted that Brisbane 2XU have become involved with the conference.
